# Using the editor

> What you see is (not only) what you get

We use a simple yet powerful and modern rich text editor that is keyboard and screen-reader accessible. The editor supports standard rich-text functionality including:

* Headings
* Bold
* Italic
* Strikethrough
* Bullet list
* Ordered list
* Links

## Shortcut keys

The editor supports default shortcut keys which are common amongst most rich text editors, including the below.

## Markdown

The editor supports standard Markdown syntax with live rendering, allowing you to see styling changes instantly as you author your content. The most common markdown syntax and styles are included below.
