# Subscribers

> Automated weekly insights and links to your recent campaigns

## Overview

The subscribe functionality enables you to deliver campaign updates to your subscribers every week in an automated fashion. All subscribers are free of charge and do not need a login to the Growth Method app.

## How it works

Subscribers can be added by users in the app’s settings area, or they can subscribe themselves via shared campaign links.

Subscribers automatically receive a copy of your team's weekly growth report which includes:

1. Your team's growth goal
2. Campaigns that are currently live
3. Your team campaign leaderboard

Growth Method automatically generates a secure auto-expiring link that subscribers can use to access the in-progress or completed campaign details. For more information see the [guide on reports](/guides/reports).

## Subscriber security

By default, public subscribers are not allowed and attempts to subscribe to your team will receive the following message:

> "Sorry, subscriptions are limited to specific email addresses or domain names at this time".

We suggest starting out by allowing anyone with an @yourcompany.com email address to subscribe to your team.

In addition to the above note:

1. Subscriber preferences are evaluated at each send. If preferences are changed subscribers will stop receiving emails if they are outside of the new rules.
2. All users receive [notification emails](/guides/notifications) for new subscribers.
3. All subscribers can be viewed and deleted in the app under Settings -> Subscribers
4. Subscribers can subscribe to more than one team should they wish to, and if permitted by the individual team settings.

Growth Method advanced subscriber configuration options are highlighted below.

Growth Method stores the following information for every new subscriber.

| Subscription time and date | The date and time of subscribing                                    |
| Team                       | The team the person is subscribed to                                |
| Source type                | The source of the subscription (campaign, playbook or gallery item) |
| Campaign ID                | The campaign ID of the subscription                                 |
